Prevalent, Inc. announced today that they have released Quillix 4 Capture for general availability. Quillix 4 Capture includes many new web client features including: Zone OCR, Instant OCR, Image Smart Orientation, Classify with Default Document Type, Dock-able Viewer, Web Database Lookup Wizard, and Silent Login. Additionally, Quillix 4 Capture includes the ability to define OCR zones through the Server Manager’s document zone definition dialogue and the ability for the server to specify processing priorities among different processes.

The Laserfiche 8 product suite has just received the highest-possible Five-Star rating from Buyers Laboratory Inc. (BLI) in its latest Solutions Report. This is the first time a document management solution has ever received a Five-Star rating from BLI, which performs independent research about products produced by the imaging industry for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), dealers and business consumers.

The report focused exclusively on our current Laserfiche 8.1 product suite, and highlighted Laserfiche 8.1’s ease of use and administration, scalability, intuitive interface and possibilities for integration.
