OCR Product Without Per Page License:

Are you concerned about the per-page charges requested by commcial OCR Software? UFC is pleased to offer a high volume alternative through our MuWave PDF product. MuWave PDF produces high quality image over text or PDF-A-2 (PDF archive) documents without the per-page licensing with most other commercial offerings. Imagine a high-capacity OCR engine without per-page OCR charges or annual limits. This product comes standard with support for eight processor cores and is designed for a high-volume environment. It is available either in a high-volume QSX module for Quillix or as a stand-alone application which monitors a directory and processes files as they are sent there by an existing capture solution. MuWave® Forms Pro is a plug-in Quillix™ Server eXtension (QSX) that extends Quillix to include advanced forms processing capabilities. This provides additional automation to the capture process, saving organizations time and money by reducing or eliminating user intervention.

Advanced Forms Processing

MuWave Forms Pro turns Quillix into an advanced forms processing system. Advanced features include forms recognition, ICR, OCR, and OMR using the built-in ABBYY FineReader Engine (version 8.1). Forms Pro also includes the ability to decode 26 different types of barcodes with an accuracy that is unsurpassed in the industry. Other advanced features include a batch preview option that enables incoming batches to be previewed to make sure they are properly organized before assembly.

Optional Batch Analysis

MuWave Forms Pro provides an optional batch analysis capability. This function enables each incoming batch to be previewed instead of being automatically assembled. The batch is reviewed and the barcodes are read. If the configured parameters do not match the requirements, the batch is returned to a queue with information revealed on the first page of the batch telling the user how the batch would be assembled as well as revealing any problems found in the batch.
