Job Title: Developer/Support Analyst  

Description

This member of the support staff will be responsible for design, development, installation and maintenance of UFC’s Suite of Products, including FileNet and Quillix applications. They will provide valuable project management to current ongoing projects. This person will be responsible for assisting in the continued development and improvement of UFC’s MuWave line of products and in the refinement of our FileNet related product offerings.They will be working closely with the sales department to assist in delivering technically correct product demonstrations and proposals. This position requires a self-starter and adapted learner who is able to work at home with minimal day to day instruction and is willing to do on-site visits to our Houston customers. The person selected will be required to lead in all phases of the software development life cycle, including taking on complete or semi-complete projects from existing employees. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or equivalent experience.  Application Experience should include:   Visual Basic 6 Development, Visual Studio, .NET Development (VB.NET 2003 and 2005), MS SQL Server 2000/2005 and Oracle.  C++ and Java experience a plus. Web development (ASP, PHP, ASP.NET) experience a strong plus

• Be able and willing to travel approximately 20% of the time, both locally and out of state

• Be able and willing to do Analysis, Design, Coding, Testing, Maintenance and Documentation

• Possess a Familiarity with Workflow, Content Management, document imaging, COLD, general document capture applications, client/server architecture, Microsoft Windows, and UNIX.Be willing to obtain various industry Certifications

• Be able to work for a small company and its corporate culture

• Reside in the Greater Houston or surrounding area

Job Title:  Account Executive

Description

This person will be responsible for the sale of web-based capture software along with add-on modules and professional services. The position will involve generating leads, creating sales presentations and sales proposals, qualifying new prospects and maintaining new clients. This position answers directly to the General Manager. 

Requirements

• Self-motivated professional with high ethical standards and at least 3 years of sales experience with a proven track record in computer software/services

• Software sales experience, ideally including knowledge of FileNet, and capture software such as Kofax or Captiva.

• Familiarity with workflow, content management, document imaging, COLD, client/server architecture, Microsoft Windows, and UNIX

• Strong technical writings skills – able to draft professionally looking and technically accurate sales proposals

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

• Willing to travel up to 25% for trade shows and occasional sales presentations

• Able to work from home exclusively and have high speed internet access available

• Able to work for a small company and to develop long term relationships with customers beyond the initial sale

• Ideally located within 50 miles of Houston, TX
