Easy Committal to Microsoft® SharePoint® Server
ABBYY FineReader Server comes with built-in functions for Microsoft® SharePoint server including the ability to store a document in a SharePoint® library along with indexing information (metadata) and features for specifying the filename from the index values. A new feature was added in the latest release which provides the ability to query a SharePoint® library to locate non-searchable documents, check them out, create a text searchable version through OCR, and then check them back into the SharePoint® library. In addition existing annotations on PDF documents can be retained through the OCR process. These features make ABBYY Recognition Server® the industry leading product.
